Thanks to Robin Burkinshaw for the idea. I am going to use this blog to tell my Colby story.  The idea comes from Alice and Kev which tells the life of a homeless girl and her father using The Sims 3.

If you’re familiar with Colby, this part picks up before Aaron & Pat(ricia)’s mother dies of a drug overdose and they’re “living” in an abandoned city park.

If not, The Colby siblings are trying to make things happen and are trying to hopefully start living in a real house.

Start Reading from the Beginning

Aaron got a frantic call and the voice asked, “May I speak to Aaron or Patricia Colby please?”

Things are looking very up for the Colby’s!!  As promised, when Aaron turned 18, he was able to head to court to show how his mother was incompetent and, with River’s mother’s help, was granted custidy of Pat.

School got out the next day and Aaron’s new friend River McIrish came over to spend time with them.  She’s going to see if her parents would let them visit for an afternoon.

Pat woke up to find herself lying on her bench.  She yawned and started crying.  “It was all a dream,” She sobbed.

Could it be?  Mom actually cleaning up her act?

Monday rolled around and that meant Aaron and Pat could get food and a shower at school.  Mom had a new trick to further make their life miserable
